Welcome to IncaFé
We are specialised in organic specialty coffee which we import directly from growers, mostly in Peru. Peru is ideally suited for specialty coffee with much organic rich soils at high altitude and good rainfall. We also bring in related organic products from Peru like raw cane sugar and drinking chocolate.

Specialty coffee loves organics
The tasty Arabica coffee species originated in the high altitude forests of Ethiopia and northern Kenya. They like the cooler tropical conditions with rich soil and some shade. Without rich soils and shade they become more susceptible to disease.
Carbon sinks
We do a lot to minimise and offset our emissions and we also offset all the other emissions from farm to your cup of coffee. However by far the biggest impact we have is promoting organic coffee as the trees on and around the plantations sequester some 10 times more carbon than we offset with all our schemes.
Ethical buying and ethical selling
The benefits of organic agriculture are consistently understated leaving consumers think there is little difference and not prepared to pay what should be only a relatively small premium for a massive difference.
On the flip side, organic and Fairtrade products are often sold at premiums much larger than what the difference in price is at the farmgate for the products in question. This is doing a disservice to growing organic agriculture and making it more accessible. We only pass on the difference in farmgate price.

Our Story
Almost 20 years ago we took a plunge and left our safe corporate life behind to promote organic coffee and organics. After working in intense agriculture and a career in one of the largest oil companies, you realise something has to change. We want to be a small part of positive change. With our knowledge of Peru and knowing the impact that organic coffee has, plus the fact that we love coffee, promoting organic coffee was an easy choice. We need to consume better to make a change.
